I tell you Mrs. Cooper wastes no time grabbing our attention with this one. You quickly figure out that this couple's journey will not be easy and it might take some assistance from Atlanta Finest before they're able to sail into the sunset.
When Noah's marriage proposal is rejected he tries to check off all the reasons she would say "NO". We ask ourselves, why would she say no clearly she has a good thing. Well, read to the end to find out. Noah hasn't found one reason that they haven't already talked about, but then he starts to pay attention and notices changes in Genesis' behavior.
Genesis, knows we are saying girl, what's up with "NO"? You know you love him, yeah there are some differences between you, but nothing you haven't already resolved. She finds out that her lack of communication and not taking heed to warning signs almost cost her her life and Mr. One and Only.
Mr. Black had an assignment as a representative of Atlanta and he did not disappoint. With his annual Juneteenth charity ball, there was a trivia booth and I love that idea as a way to educate about the history of Juneteenth in addition to giving back to a deserving organization.
I enjoyed this one and having appearances of some familiar characters was an added bonus. Make sure you check this one out, you will not be disappointed.
