This Christmas story was all about miracles during the Christmas season, but I like to think these can be experienced during any season. God's gifts come when we need them.

Christmas is believed to be a magical time when angels roam the earth bringing messages of hope and tidings of good cheer.
Kelly Benson has spent the last five years hiding in Chicago after her crush, Gabe, brought a pregnant wife home to Shiloh. She moved to Chicago with hopes of landing her dream job but ended up settling for a job that merely pays the bills. Depressed and hopeless after being fired a week before Christmas, Kelly wishes for a Christmas Angel to come to work its magic.
Gabe is raising his four-year-old daughter, Michaela, alone after his wife of five years moved to Tampa with her boyfriend. A week before Christmas, which is also Michaela’s birthday, Gabe receives his final divorce decree. Then his ex-wife cancels plans with Michaela for a trip to Paris. Gabe is grumpy and ready to restart the “He-Man Woman Haters Club.”
Will a Christmas Angel appear to point Kelly in the right way? Can the magic of Christmas drive the loneliness and sorrow away?
I Need A Christmas Angel was a quick read but packed with a big punch of hope, faith, and second chances. While this was a Christmas romance, the experience could happen during any season. During the Christmas season, it's a time when most feel the lightness and, we open our hearts to giving, sharing, and preparing for the new chapter of our lives (New Year).
Kelly, not wanting to be in her hometown when her childhood crush moves back with a pregnant wife, fled to Chicago with hopes of healing and a dream job, which didn't turn out quite as she had hoped. By the time Gabe finds out "I Do" doesn't always last a lifetime, he's left a divorcee and a single dad. When Kelly's mom BB wants her daughter home for Christmas and Gabe has to soften the blow to his daughter that she won't be spending time with her Mother, he volunteers to take a road trip to bring Kelly home. Here is where they experience the spirit of Christmas.
Besides being a quick inspirational story showcasing the holiday season, what I liked most of how it defied a few myths; "You snooze You Lose" and "A specific lapse time for starting a new relationship" a few quotes came to mind...
{Being single doesn't mean no one wants you, it just means God is busy writing your love story}
{Relationships are like glass, sometimes its better to leave them broken than try and hurt yourself putting them back together}
The supporting characters were a bonus in highlighting the miracles of Christmas, "Love is the master key that opens the gates of happiness." Characters to watch were BB and Michaela's. After reading, I felt Michaela was a Christmas Angel. Be sure to add this to your list.
