Well, out of all the Madden brothers, the author decides to serve the last brother straight up with no chaser. While reading this I couldn’t help but think how much this story reminds me of the lotus flower.
While this plot was dark, it was a beautifully crated love story of two hearts destined to be together but torn apart by tragic circumstances. Serenity and Carter were inseparable and had the perfect boy and girl next door relationship. So imagine the difficulty for everyone trying to understand the cause of them to end so abruptly and forcing Carter into the shadows, cutting off all communication with Serenity and his family.
With all the moving parts this one presents, you might try to figure everything out; don’t just enjoy the ride. All will be revealed in the end. The author leaves crumbs “Crowne” and I can’t wait to see where they lead us.
A phenomenal read that will have you thinking about it long after you’ve turned the last page and leaving you in a paralyzing state of emotions!!!
