Book Bar Review: đ„đ„đ„đ„§đ„§
Have you ever heard Loveâs catch phrase âSheâs going to make you love herâ? No better phrase describes this authorâs writing style. Iâve enjoyed all of this authorâs work and this one is no different.
The pre-publication video did not prepare me for the onset of these new characters. The character inspiration for this storyâs hero had this series on high alert.
Once I started reading, about 5% in Pastor Ezra Carmichael had me putting this down and doing a self-check. This man is so powerful he affects you from the pages. Then we have our hero, Sadik another one of Loveâs complicated male characters that weâve all grown to love.
Sadik is force to be reckoned with. He chooses to take his own journey instead of being completely immersed in the family business, but is often called upon to assist.  His family loyalty and dedication has him playing wing man due to his brotherâs infidelity and puts in the direct path of Bilan. This is certainly not the type of connection he was looking for, but unable to walk away.
Bilan is a sweet potato extraordinaire at a popular neighborhood bakery and the African-American representative (you will catch this when you read). She has a lot going on and getting involved with Sadik will definitely have her jumping from the frying pan into the fire.
Even though these two appear to be from different worlds, they complement each other and I canât wait for the next installment. This one was worth every slice of pie and shot of Mauve!!!!!
Loved it!!!
